Description
The defendant, Trevor Pinnock, raises
two issues concerning the sufficiency of the evidence
to convict him and raises several other issues arising
from the trial court's rulings throughout the course of
his criminal trial. The defendant was charged with conspiracy
to commit murder in violation of General Statutes
53a-48 and 53a-54a, and attempted murder in
violation of General Statutes 53a-491 and 53a-54a.
He was found guilty of both offenses by a jury, and was
sentenced to a term of imprisonment of seventeen years
on the attempt count and to a term of twenty years
[220 Conn. 768]
on the conspiracy count, the sentences to run consecutively
for a total effective sentence of thirty-seven years
imprisonment. Thereafter, he appealed to this court.
We affirm the judgment of the trial court.
